A custom website for a car rental company in Žilina: customers choose a car, check available dates and send a booking. Staff run the whole business from one admin system.

The challenge
A rental company with more than 30 cars needed a website where customers can choose and book a car at any time — even outside opening hours. And a tool that keeps bookings, contracts, servicing and vehicle documents under control for the staff.
What I did
Vehicle catalogue
Fleet overview filtered by class and availability. Each car has a two-month availability calendar.
Booking with live pricing
The form calculates the price from rental length and extras in real time, so customers see the summary straight away.
Whole-fleet calendar
Occupancy of every car 6 weeks ahead on a single screen.
Admin system with roles
Bookings, customers, contracts, payments, costs, servicing, motorway vignettes and reports. Administrator, manager and operator each see only what they need.
Automatic e-mails and reminders
Booking confirmations, reminders the day before pick-up and return, alerts for expiring documents and servicing. E-mails go through a retrying queue, so none get lost.
Data security
Customer document numbers are encrypted in the database and forms are protected against abuse.
